Features · For employees

Employee activity tracking software everything else counts on.

A phone in a pocket is enough. Steps sync on their own, every 100 of them convert to one active minute, and 65 activity types land on the surface your challenges and participation rate read.

How a step becomes a number

100 steps. One active minute.

Total steps is an addition, not a reading. Three inputs, one number, one hardcoded conversion rate.

100 steps 1 active minute

It drives the move_min challenge task. WHO's 150 minutes a week is context, not a certification.

Three ways in: automatic device sync, manual logging, and camera-based tracking, meaning squat pose detection plus a finger-on-camera pulse reading that is awareness-level, not medical-grade.

Device steps

Apple Health on iOS. Google Fit, or the source picked in Device Management, on Android. Fitbit or Garmin once connected override both.

Manual steps

Activity ID 63, for the day someone walked without a phone. Off until the company turns it on.

Active-minute steps

Activity time converted back into steps, so a yoga session counts in a step challenge. Company toggle.

Self-serve Loggable activities

Add "Office Yoga" under Admin, Configuration, Activities. It appears beside Running, and works as a challenge task.

Self-serve Adherence activities

Daily check-ins such as "Avoid Sugar" sit in the Plus menu under More, and a challenge task can require four of them a week.

Wheelchair is type 58, GPS-trackable, switched on from the employee's own settings. The 7-Minute Workout is built in, and logs itself when the timer ends.
What the employee opens

Two rings. One is always steps.

Ring 1 is steps, for everyone. Ring 2 shows active calories or active minutes, and which one appears is a company setting.

Defaults are 10,000 steps and 250 active calories, and a live challenge task overrides them. Tapping the rings opens the diary and the seven-day trends. Mindful-minute and sleep trends are Full Mode.
Switching Ring 2 to active minutes is a VC Support change, not a dashboard toggle. Decide it before launch week.
Ring 1 Steps, always present Target 10,000, or the challenge task.
Ring 2 Active calories or active minutes Company-configured. One, never both.

Data integrity

Honest numbers, not flattering ones.

A challenge result only holds up if the step data underneath it does.

Duplicate pushes are dropped

A sync at 95 to 105 percent of the previous day inside 18 hours is ignored. The rule was written for iOS 1.5.4 to 1.5.7.

Sync has a floor of 15 seconds

Reopening the app cannot push the same steps twice.

One primary device at a time

Fitbit or Garmin replaces Apple Health or Google Fit as the step source. A wrist and a pocket never both count.

Step capping is switched off

A normalization limit exists in the code, disabled for every company today. We would rather print that than imply a ceiling.

Rollout questions

Three things buyers ask in week one.

Do employees have to buy a tracker?

No. Steps come off the phone through Apple Health on iOS, and Google Fit or the selected source on Android. A wearable adds accuracy and data types a phone cannot see.

Someone joins in week two. Do they start at zero?

No. Historical step data uploads day by day with the hourly breakdown intact, so a late joiner is scored on the days walked.

Does any of this work in a browser?

The rings, trends and logging surface are in the mobile app. The web app covers challenges and leaderboards.
