Employee nutrition tracking that shows the math.

Calorie and macro targets come from real BMR math, not a lookup table. A meal or a glass of water logs in seconds, and counts toward the same participation score as steps.

Vantage Fit food logging screen showing a searched meal with calories and macros

Search or type a food; it saves against the day's target.

In one line

A daily calorie and macro target is calculated from each employee's BMR in Vantage Fit, then split across their meals. Food and water log in seconds by search or a single tap. Hydration can be set as a challenge task, so what people log counts toward participation.

Built on real numbers

Targets from the math, not a template.

Every target comes from the basic profile, no health assessment required.

Mifflin-St Jeor BMR, adjusted for activity

From sedentary (×1.2) to very heavy (×1.9), so the number fits how the person actually lives.

Goal-aware, within safe limits

A goal shifts the target by up to 550 calories a day, with floors of 1,800 for men and 1,200 for women.

Macros move with the goal

Protein, carb and fat splits by goal: maintain 30/50/20, gain 40/40/20, lose 30/40/30, lose belly fat 40/30/30.

Log it in seconds

Search it, re-log it, or just type it.

Logging has to be quick, or it doesn't happen.

Search, or one-tap from Quick Tray

Re-log a regular meal from a favourites tray without searching again.

Nothing in the database? Type it

A few thousand items today and growing. Missing one? Type the name and calories.

No guessing games yet

Barcode and photo logging are on the roadmap, not live yet.

Illustrative · type an exact amount too, and a challenge can set a custom target like 3 litres on 4 days.

Part of the same score

A logged meal counts like a logged run.

  • Every log lands on the same record

Meals and water feed participation alongside steps and workouts, not a side app.

  • Water can headline a challenge

Set a hydration target like three litres on four days a week, and it runs like any other challenge task.

  • In the app, on Full-Mode plans

Nutrition and hydration live in the mobile app. They're part of Full Mode, not the steps-only Lite Mode.

Questions before rollout

Worth asking before launch

Nutrition and hydration are employee-managed and always on for Full-Mode clients.

Do employees need to finish the health assessment first?−
No. Targets come from the basic profile: height, weight, date of birth, gender, goal and activity level. The full health risk assessment stays optional.
Is the food database complete?+
Not yet, and there is no point pretending otherwise. It holds a few thousand items and is growing. When a food is missing, an employee types the name and its calories, so nothing blocks a log.
Can employees scan a barcode or photograph a meal?+
Not currently. Barcode scanning and photo logging are on the roadmap, not live features today.
Does it push extreme diets?+
No. A goal only shifts the target by up to 550 calories a day, and there are hard floors of 1,800 calories for men and 1,200 for women.
Does logging count toward challenges?+
Yes. A logged meal or glass of water feeds the participation score, and hydration can be set as a challenge task with its own target.
Does it work on the web?+
Food and water logging happen in the mobile app. They are part of Full Mode and are not included in the steps-only Lite Mode.
