Phone, log, or camera.

Every log on this surface counts toward the same participation number. Wearables add accuracy. They are not required.

Source 1 Automatic device sync

Apple Health, Google Fit or the selected Android source, Fitbit, Garmin.

Source 2 Manual logging

The employee picks a type and a duration. It still counts.

Source 3 Camera

Squat pose-detection, or a finger-on-camera heart rate that is awareness-level, not medical-grade.

Health Connect is used for supported imports. It is not the Android step source.

100 steps. One active minute.

This is how a walk becomes the same challenge unit as a logged workout.

Two rings. Steps always.

The home screen opens on two rings. Ring 1 is always steps. Ring 2 is active calories or active minutes. VC Support sets which one.

Vantage Fit mobile summary with two activity rings, step and active-minute totals, and a 7-day trend

With no challenge running, defaults are 10,000 steps and 250 active calories. Diary and 7-day trends sit under the rings. Mindful-minute and sleep graphs are Full-Mode only. Rings and trends are not on the web app.

65 types. Plus the ones you name.

The catalog lives in the log. Admins add the workplace-specific ones.

Honest logs. Not inflated ones.

A corporate wellness activity tracking app only works if the number is defensible.

Integrity

Duplicate-detection and a 15-second floor

A push that is 95 to 105 percent of the prior day is ignored if it arrives within 18 hours. That rule targets a known iOS 1.5.4 to 1.5.7 cache bug. Step sync will not fire more often than every 15 seconds.

  • Step capping exists in code. It is off for every company.
  • One primary device at a time. Fitness covers the device catalog.
Lite Mode · VC Support

Lite Mode is steps only

Custom activities, GPS, squat tracker, camera heart rate, and the second ring go away. Fitness and nutrition logging are Full-Mode.

  • VC Support: active-minutes ring, manual steps, prevent overlapping activities, Lite enablement.
  • Self-serve: custom loggable and adherence activities, activity reports.

Before you roll it out

Do employees need a wearable?

No. Phone sensors are enough for steps. Wearables add accuracy and extra data types. They are not required.

Can HR open someone’s heart-rate sample?

No. Admins see aggregates. Not an individual’s heart-rate sample, GPS route, food log, or weight.

What disappears in Lite Mode?

Lite Mode is steps only. Custom activities, GPS, squat tracker, camera heart rate, food, water, and the second ring are Full-Mode.

Put every log on the number you take upstairs.

Walk through the rings, the 65-type log, and the step formula on the same app employees already download.
