Built-in conversion

100 steps = 1 active minute

Three sources. One count.

Steps arrive on their own. Everything else is a quick manual log or the camera. All three feed the same daily total, and every total rolls up to the same participation number.

Automatic device sync

Apple Health on iPhone, Google Fit on Android, or a connected Fitbit or Garmin. One primary device at a time, so a step never counts twice.

Manual logging

Pick from 65 activity types across cardio, sports, strength, and mind and body. Companies can also switch on manual step entry.

Camera-based tracking

Squat reps by pose detection and a finger-on-camera heart-rate reading. The heart-rate check is awareness-level, not medical-grade.

100 steps. One active minute.

Total steps combine device steps, manual steps, and steps converted from active minutes. That active minute is the unit challenges use for move-minute tasks.

  • Two rings on the home screenRing 1 is always steps. Ring 2 is active calories or active minutes, set company-wide through VC Support.
  • Sensible defaultsWith no challenge running, targets sit at 10,000 steps and 250 active calories.
  • Diary and 7-day trendsOne tap below the rings. WHO’s 150 active minutes a week is the reference point, not a certification.

65 types. Plus the ones you name.

The catalog spans eight families. Three details matter for rollout.

Custom activities

Admins add branded loggable activities like Office Yoga, or adherence habits like Avoid Sugar. Self-serve from Configuration.

Wheelchair type

A GPS-trackable wheelchair activity type is built in, so the program includes every employee.

7-Minute Workout

A fixed 12-exercise routine with bundled demos, ready on day one. No equipment, no setup.

Counted honestly.

The number HR sees is only useful if it is not inflated. The platform says what it does about that, and what it does not.

  • Duplicate detectionFlags a day that lands within 95 to 105 percent of the prior day’s steps inside 18 hours.
  • Sync floorStep sync is rate-limited to once every 15 seconds.
  • Capping is offStep capping exists in the codebase and is disabled globally. We would rather say that than sell a cleaner story.
  • Lite Mode is steps onlyEverything above runs in Full Mode. VC Support enables Lite Mode, manual steps, and the Ring 2 metric.

Before rollout

Do employees need a wearable?

No. Phone sensors cover steps. A Fitbit, Garmin, or Apple Watch adds accuracy and more data types, but it is never required.

What works on the web app?

Activity logging lives in the mobile app. Rings and trends are mobile-only; the web app does not mirror them.

Can HR see an individual’s logs?

No. Admins see company and department aggregates, never a person’s activity diary.

See every log become one number.

Walk through the logging surface, the rings, and the participation count it feeds.
